Methods will vary depending on target and how the data in question is being handled. No specific answers can be given to those questions based on that wording.

You NEED to complete the CE tutorial. Study it until you can understand what you are doing and why. When are you are able to complete the CE tutorial using entirely injection, then you will be in a better position to tackle something like this.
