|
|
Hello, I've read a lot online about how to make cheat engine undetectable. But what about CE Trainers?
I know I could use Sandboxie with a game that doesn't allow Cheat Engine, and it'll all be fine. Isn't there another way to do this with CE Trainer development? I don't know much about trainer development, just the easy stuff.
Thanks, hope someone can help.

Yes I did try using FileUnsigner with the trainer exe file, but it still didn't work.

I tried it myself and it working without any File Unsigner.
The trainer works and the game doesn't close.

I'm not sure if FileUnsigner works, I looked at the file through Task Manager, and it still has all Digital Signatures.
Is my batch code correct:
C:\Users\USER\Desktop\FileUnsigner.exe /f "C:\Users\USER\Desktop\Test Build\re7.exe"
(Batch file ran with UAC)
Below is the CMD output after running the command above:
C:\Windows\system32> C:\Users\USER\Desktop\FileUnsigner.exe /f "C:\Users\USER\Desktop\Test Build\re7.exe"
---------------------------------------------------------------
RESULTS:
1: Successfully unsigned C:\Users\USER\Desktop\Test Build\re7.exe
---------------------------------------------------------------
Press any key to exit.
I also dragged and dropped the exe file and got this (without /f)
: Failed trying to unsign C:\Users\USER\Desktop\Test Build\re7.EXE. File doesn't appear to be digitaly signed.

| You need to unsign Cheat Engine, not the game.

re7.exe is coincidentally the name of my trainer
I should've thought that, that would of been confusing.

| You can't name the trainer the same as the game. It will attach to itself.

This is interesting to me, how the hell did you manage to make a working ce trainer in the first place? I mean if you were able to make a cetrainer in the first place, you must have unsigned/recompiled CE, in which case your trainer will NOT get detected. Maybe you stole it from someone?...idk but interesting
Anyhow, unsign your CE, make the trainer > profit.
Don't run the trainer in unsigner lmao, run CE!! which you have installed.

What's up with this "unsigning" and "detection" I read here? Have used CE's trainer maker once or twice in my life, and that was a few years back. Yeah, I can do my homework and read about it, but do humor me and post a quick summary

Resident evil 7 looks for ce's signature and then shows this nasty message
http://nvsx.net/i/PRhq.png
You can unsign ce and it works (as i've heard, i ended up recompiling/renaming mine) or you can recompile.
Trainers generated with ce gets ce packed in them right so when you run the trainer, re7 cries. Unless you generate a trainer wiuth unsigned ce so unsigned ce gets packed > no problems.
I have a feeling it might be relatively easy to bypass but i haven't bothered, i finished with the trainer and this game long ago.

Ah, I saw that message several times now, but couldn't correlate with the big picture.
1. Does the "nasty message" pop-up when you open CE? Or when you target game process? (I somehow feel it's the first).
2. Is the game executable protected in any way? Denuvo?
3. If not 2, could you not simply attach to the game with x64dbg while message is on-screen and Alt+F9 (return to user) to find where the MessageBoxA call was triggered? (I think you can attach even with Denuvo in the background).
Just some thoughts.
P.S.: If you guys can share the game via Steam, I could take a look. Am not interested in anything else (haven't played any of them).

| Yes, I'm sure finding the check would be really simple. If all they are doing is checking for a signature, that seems pretty weak.
