Yea i been using Cheatengine for a while now cheating on some games and what not but wat suprises me is that all this time i been using this creation i know nothing about it and now i am seeking knowledge of the cheat engine so i can understand what i am doing instead of just adding in adresses that i didnt find and ticking zf

so my main reason for posting this thread was to ask about Auto assembly since i use it alot i wanted to know what exactly it is and its functions as in when you write a code and you put for example

nop

i dont know what "nop" is or any of the other functions i am sure you guys probably have a thread explaining all of these funtions can you please lead me in the right direction.

im not so good too but...
nop's is like frozen stoping the code /address from moving

NOP means no operation,

It will cause timers,lives,ammo to all freeze in game.

But what you are really doing when you NOP is removing the instruction that causes the ammo,timer,lives to decrease when used.

Allot of novice game hackers use this to freeze these items.
But to better your hacking skills try to inject code to make it do what you want.

Example: AMMO

You find the instruction that decrease ammo every shot, Well how about making it go up one bullet every shot ?
or adding more ammo then the basic 10 or 30 rounds?

Instead of just freezing it you have created your own hack.
