Cheat Engine

Every time I scan values using Cheat Engine, the space used by Cheat Engine increases by approximately 1GB. I have cleared temp files, checked registry entries, and even uninstalled Cheat Engine, and the space eaten by the program has not been freed (obviously uninstalling the program freed up space, but not nearly the amount that has been eaten by scans).

Suggestions on how to fix this are welcome. I still want to use the program

Edit > Settings > Scan Settings
[x] Don't store the temporary scanfiles in the windows tempdir

Delete the crap in your %TEMP% directory.
