How do I cheat?

So I recently updated to the latest version of mac, 10.12.0, or Mac OS Sierra. Whenever I attempt to open Cheatengine in this version it says "The application “cheatengine-i386” can’t be opened". That's it. No specific explanation or anything. I really like using Mac OS Sierra, so I don't want to downgrade, so is there anything I can do to fix this?
I am using the version from CEMacApril2012.

you're best off asking Apple
but try running it from a command terminal with root access.
it may give info
(or read the system log like dmesg or something)

I don't really know how to use terminal. do you know which command i would use? It's in the directory of desktops/CEMacApril2012.

did you do the previous required step to allow unsigned applications to run? (that csrutil thingy you needed for el capitan)

besides that i can't help much. ce for mac was last developed before el capitan

You can click the actual application but it seems to provide an incomplete GUI. The window pops up but does not seem to create GUI process. In other words it seems to run but has the computer fooled into thinking it is not running. It pulls up terminal as you can see and it seems like (what I am assuming) the font is not created.

The UI works if you do the following command in terminal...
"./cheatengine-i386.app/Contents/MacOS/cheatengine-i386"
You can use the sudo command if necessary.

I copy and pasted what you put and it said "no such file or directory"

The UI loads and only half works. It does not properly load as a full process as per my screenshot. So the computer does not recognize the UI.
