So this is only a segment of the scan, however the above segment is matching the following in memory.

Code:
20 4E 00 00 01 00 00 00 10 27


So if we move this into byte sized blocks we end up with this:

Code:
204E 0000 0100 0000 1027


As you can see we only have 3 bytes in-between 20,000 and 10,000 but we are skipping 4 bytes and getting a match still.

01 00 00 00 == 4 bytes. You split that up into word-sized blocks, not byte-sized blocks.

You're right, I was getting confused because for some reason I was thinking 20,000 ended at 4E but it's actually 00004E20. I need some sleep thanks.
