Cheat Engine

I found the static pointer with cheat engine, it is green, and it works fine when I reopen the game, restart my PC, etc. However, if I remove the game and then reinstall it, the pointer address changes.

What can I do here, besides hooking the game engine, to get a reliable pointer that will be the same for everybody else as well as me?

Use pointermap, take the 100s-1000s of results it gives you and try them on the reinstalled game (just make one pointermap with one install and a second pointermap with a second install). Run the pointer scanner using the two pointermaps and you will be good to go for finding a working stable pointer.

An alternate reason is that the game had a patch between uninstall and reinstall (or only people with a fresh install get the patch due to savefile incompatibilities)

But if it is the same version, then filter out different installs as well as cooleke suggests
