This might be a very specific need that nobody else really finds useful but here goes.
Windowed I can set the Speedhack value beyond the 0.00 level, so more than 2 digits behind the decimal point (as per topic title 0.001), click apply and the game runs very slow, which is what I want.
But when I assign hotkeys with such a value, so I can activate them easily ingame running fullscreen, then they only trigger 0.00 and the game run notably faster than when manually applying the speedhack.
Can I change this somehow, so that it actually uses the value I set in the hotkey options?
Alt-tabbing out and back in doesn't work because at that low speed you'd never get out of the game menu.
This is not related for searching for values, this is a simple slow motion need/topic for recordings.
Edit: Is it possible to activate the speedhack via script and setting the value there? |

DO NOT USE SPEED HACK TO SLOW DOWN A GAME BEYOND REASONABLE FPS SPEEDS CUS IT JUST RESULTS IN CHOPPY FRAMERATES, LOW TO INCREADIBLY LOW RESPONCE RATES (PARTICULARLY IN ANYTHING THAT HAS A MENU LIKE A PAUSE MENU FOR EXAMPLE) AND BLURRYNESS DEBENDING IF THE GAME USES A BLURE WHEN DOING A CERTAIN ACTION (EG GIVE IT BLUR ASWELL AS A CHARACTER SPEED INCREASE TO MAKE IT APPEAR ITS MOVING REALLY FAST), ITS BETTER TO FIND THE IN GAME SPEED AS THE BUILT IN GAME SPEED WICH IS BUILT INTO THE GAME IS FAR BETTER THAN THE SPEED HACK FEATURE AS IT ONLY AFFECTS THE GAME SPEED WHEN IT NEEDS TO HV THE VALUE WICH MEENS THE GAMESPEED WILL BE NORMAL EVERYWHERE ELSE (FOR EXAMPLE TITLE SCREENS, MENU'S, LEVEL SELECTION) BUT TO WHAT EVER VALUE U SET IT AT IN THE ACTUAL GAME (EG WHEN UR PLAYING A LEVEL OR FREE ROAMING OR WHATEVER UR DOING) |
