I followed Dark Byte's guide on making an 'aimhelper' - /viewtopic.php?t=3871
I did this for Star Wars Battlefront II (because there is virtually no online protection, other than the fact that everything is server-sided).
I got to the point where I had assigned a spot to shoot at in each texture (using the character selection screen, look at screenshot) but could go no further than callibrating the mouse.
Whenever I loaded the aimfile, the little targets would appear in completely random places, like down in the floor, or away off the map, even when I was right next to the enemy. The enemy would be black (because I had locked the texture) but the little targeter would never be on their head, thus I could autoaim at some random spot in the wall, but never at the enemy's head. The calibration worked fine (I can lock on perfectly to the little targets) but the little targets are not in the right place...
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
And does the part about locking textures mean that they appear black when I play?
And are the little targets meant to appear on their head all the time, or just when I press Ctrl+Shift+Z (my autoaim keys)?
The other thing is that zoom doesn't work properly, but that isn't as important.
Screenshot 1 is an example of what happens with the little targeters.
I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I did all the selecting of targets within each texture in the character selection screen (Screenshot 2).
Next day; here's my file with the aimhelper on, hopefully someone can do something (views going up, number of replies still the same).
Can anyone tell me of a free legally downloadable FPS game I could use to check if I'm doing it right (preferably one which people know works with DirectXMess).
Are there any easily-useable OpenGL hooks like DirectXMess for D3D in Cheat Engine? It's just that Wikipedia says there are...
The Extension 'rar' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.
