|

Hello!
I'm really stuck at this point, been trying for days, I've read some tutorials about assembly and how it works, but still I cannot figure why the game is teleporting me back.
I guess its because some check, or because im not storing the coordinate inside xmm0.
The instruction selected is to move x coord (see attach).
The xmm0 register is this one
| Code: | | xmm0:265.25 - 279.82 - 216.73 - 0.00 |
The 265.25 is the x coord, the 279.82 is y coord and the 216 is z coord, the 0.00 I dont know
I did a code injection like this: | Code: | | mov [ebx+38],(float)233.0 |
But when I disable the injection to restore the original code i get into the last position, I have to disable it otherwhise im stucked at 233.0.
Tried to do it like this: | Code: | mov [ebx+38],(float)233.0
movq xmm0,[ebx+38] | But then the y coord and the z coord are gone from the xmm0 and im nowhere in the game.
Any tips?
Thanks!

| Online game? If not, make sure you are dealing with the CORRECT coordinate values.

Yes, online but its client check only, checked it with wpe, its sending the packet with coordinates but isnt sending the "old ones".
What exactly do you mean with correct? I'm sure the coordinates I have are the right ones, when I freeze the address, I cannot move or jump. The others do nothing.
I'm pretty sure it's all about the xmm0 register, those registers are called a lot on this game, and always are storing coordinates

If you change one of the coordinate values and you teleport back, you've either found the wrong coordinate value(s), or there is a check being done somewhere.
If you experience no ghosting effect while freezing coordinate values (and) you are able to teleport through objects (to the other side of them) without teleporting back, then you're good and you can proceed with injection. If you can't, then you need to figure out why.
Once you're absolutely 100% sure that you have the correct coordinate values, but you're still teleporting back, you can check to see what is writing to your coordinates when that happens. If it's a different instruction, then you can try NOP'ing that to see if it makes a difference. If it's the same instruction as before, then you can analyze the code around it to see if there is a check being done. Checking to see what is 'accessing' the coordinate values if/when you teleport back might also get you the correct area of code to analyze.
This is all, assuming that the check is actually being done on the client, and that the server is not actually manipulating the values.

I can teleport through objects, but its limited, if Im at 250x I can teleport to 260x just changing the value, with more Im back to my original position.
I did a find out what writes to this addres on the coordinates, then replaced the movss [ebx+38],xmm0 instruction with NOP to see if that is really the instruction and definitely it is, because I cannot move my character.
I think I need help on how to add 3 values in once to the xmm0 register, cause my code is wiping everything on the xmm0 putting only the float 233.0.
