hello !
I have background in assembly language 16 bit.
I downloaded cheatengine 6.5.1 on my 64 bit win10 laptop.
I'm stuck in stage 9 in the tutorial.... when I'm trying to "Find out what writes to this address" the second time to get the pointers and I click on "Attack" to change the value. The tutorial crashes when I click attack and the disassembler wont update the action...

I'll be happy to get help from some one here Very Happy

Do you really mean "5.6.1" or rather "6.5.1" ?

Also isn't step 9 designed for code injection rather than pointerscanning?

you right 6.5.1 ......
probably after you pointer scan tho when i try to check what writes to the address the tutorial crashes...............
