religion is similar thing.
time and space was created with big bang. there was no time before beginning of time.
at the end everything will once again become nothing ( time will end ) and await for the next bang.
space is expanding by some rate, that rate is increasing and rate at which that second rate is increasing is lowering. Derivation of acceleration is negative

clap clap at knowledge of calculus on this. u are correct. but qur'an says this exactly  it tells us the universe is being expanded.

My opinion on religion is that some wise people long ago have invented religion in order to preserve knowledge and control masses.
E.g story about Adam and Eve is metaphor for something "that would happen eventually".
If you put two persons in the garden, make them live forever and tell them not to do something. That would happen eventually.
That way they are telling us that humanity had to happen. At least that's how modern theologians would explain it.
