How do I cheat?

I want to modify the XP and gold rate for a smoother RPG experience. Is there any room to add this feature in the future? It seems like just a simple convert to float, keep in memory, and adding a multiplied difference.

While it is not the intended use of cheating software in general, this would be convenient to have, and seems to have no significant computational slowdown.

Find where the game is rewarding the exp / gold and create a code cave. In the cave modify how the value is rewarded to your needs.
