|
|
Hey so I was starting a new scan for something.. turns out it took me about 10 minutes to finish that scan:
Value Type: Float
Scan Type: Unknown Initial value
I still don't think it should take 10 minutes or something, it also lags my PC like hell I cannot open anything even a simple folder/notepad.
I did delete the files from %temp% and the CE temp as well from the destination I chooses for it, what could I do else to fix it ?
Ver I use: 6.5.1

don't use kernelmode read/write or query memory regions
and don't target the [physical memory] process.
besides that the speed of your RAM can be an issue

ah yes, 8GB RAM isn't much if you do an unknown initial value scan.
Such a scan makes a full copy of the game's memory inside the CE process.
If the game itself takes up more than 4GB RAM then windows will have to swap out memory to disk, which can cause a slowdown as well

| Ehm I see, well I can deal with that for now, so basically 16-32 ram should be fantastic for that

Get an SSD as well. HDDs suck and are slow as shit.
You will feel the difference.
