Untested, but in principle it should look like that:

newmem:
fstp st(0)
fld qword ptr [myVar]

code:
fstp qword ptr [esi]
mov word ptr [esi+08],0008

dq (double)999999

Probably should mention that the injection needs to jump to "newmem" instead of "code" as it normally would.

I did another post, cause I wanted to write something else when I couldn in my first one sying you can't double post when I tried editing my original post which was weird.
