So I've been running pointer scans on a couple games, but it seems like I get to a certain point in scanning, and then the address numbers just stop decreasing and I'm not getting any closer to the base address I need.
For example, I was trying to find the health base address for Assault Cube, but I could not get below ~1700 results no matter what I tried. Any help?
I am using CE 1.6.

that's normal. and a decent amount.
it's not like there is only one road to what you want, they can all be valid.(see it like a routeplanner that returns all possible routes from your home to a friends home living a few streets away. it not only shows the quickest route, but also longer less efficient routes)
but what you can do is give the pointerfiles to a friend abd let him rescan (or get a friend to send you a pointrrmap, but i think 1000 ish pointers is smaller)
have you tried rebooting your computer and then rescan?
what i do in this situation is just sort the offsets and then pick the path with the least amount of offsets and the smallest offset values.(not that the other ones are bad, but this may make scanning in updates faster if you know the general length and width)
