I don't know if this is the proper area if it isn't tell me and I move to the right one.

So 1st things 1st, I'm not an expert on CE, I know a little about it, finding adresses, finding pointers, basic stuff...

I have this old game that I'd like to make an script or even write an app for that matter, that would read the in-game chat and warn me and someone write something, like if the game is minimized and a player says hello, it would warn me via sound or a messagebox that someone said hello, but I have no idea on how to start.

Here's what I did:

I typed something e.g = bird

Search for text bird

Found some addresses for : My texts, others players texts and text printed on console(which i may need)

Now, what to do after this? I tried to right-click some of these addresses and find whats write to them but there are to many things.

Can you guys point me on the right direction? Thanks.
