I installed Cheat Engine 6.5 after disabling webroot and all went well. I've been using it for a few weeks now but I noticed, around the size time as the installation, that my memory (24GB) was nearing 90% usage after leaving the computer on with nothing running. I've tried updating the Nvidia drivers and finally I tried uninstalling Cheat Engine 6.5...at which point the memory leak seems to have gone away.

Anyone else experience a similar issue? I'm wondering if it has something to do with Webroot not liking Cheat Engine 6.5 as it did complain a LOT before installing CE 6.5....which is why I disabled webroot before the actual CE installation.

cheat engine doesn't run in the background

most likely a memory leak inside webroot (it's still complaining, just not showing it)

Thank you. Now I need to figure out how to install Cheat Engine without Webroot crashing my system. Seems kind of strange for an anti-virus program to crash your system...maybe a new feature set. Smile
