Cheat Engine

Hey all!

I have found only 2 or 3 topics relevant to this but no one seemed to be able to come up with a solution and the posts date back a while so I thought I would create a new one so that someone can finally figure this out.

I've used CE in the past quite a bit but this is getting really annoying: Im desperately trying to increase the in-game money (offline game btw), which should be as easy as in any other game (incl the other borderlands...). But it simply wont let me. I find the value and changing it doesnt do sh**t. I've tried decimals as well but then I cant even find the value (no cents in the game so it makes sense).
Im starting to believe it may be like in those flash games online but Im not sure...

I would be eternally grateful if somebody was able to find a solution or help out with this.
