Cheat Engine

I am using Samsung S6 running android 5.1.1 (rooted)
The error i am encountering is that the scans (any game, any value type) gets me 0 results and for any app/game the memory view just has keyboard characters in order.

Example: i launch CE, and attach it to the game. I have 500 coins ingame, that is definitely 4 bytes. I scan for 500 (with 4 bytes) and i get 0 results. Please help me!! (hopefully i didn't leave out any info)
Otherwise, does anyone know of any 'Cheat engines' for android that can scan for strings?

try setting selinux to permissive

try changing some options.
The default settings may skip some memory regions. (e,g include non-accessed memory)

I've messed with the settings a bit (could you tell me all the places i should try changing settings), although still the same result. I just really want to change strings, but it doesn't work either.
