| Seeing as I rarely drink, I don't know what to get on the occasions that I do. Usually I stick with Gin and tonics/rum and cokes or am sharing a pitcher of shitty, cheap beer. What's alcohol actually tastes good?

| I usually don't do anything fancy and just drink either cheap or expensive vodka with coke. I have no idea what the cheap vodka is cause it's what I'd get with a double vodka and coke at a bar but when it's expensive I often get Ciroc.

That sounds like something that's pretty expensive for something that's pretty much the same as tap water.
At a party I usually drink Maes, Jupiler, or Stella, which are like the three most common Belgian pilsners. But I guess they're either hard to find or really expensive in other countries and there's really not a great difference in taste between pilsners so it'd be stupid to pay extra for them.
However, at a bar or restaurant I tend to drink stronger beers like Duvel, Chimay, and Westmalle. I'm guessing these three are a lot easier to find abroad, and well worth the extra buck.

do crown royal n coke. I find it to be more smooth than vodka n coke. One my favt drinks is cointreau+ ginger ale+ lime
