Hi everyone!

I must say I'm not really confortable with all this...
I'm stucked in finding the right base address of a software (no cracking, this is a free software to control moving lights) and hope someone could point me in the right direction:

I want to find the base address that interact with a wheel encoder (basically that make increase or decrease a value)

I'm able to find the non base address that make change the value but I'm can't find the base adress (I've successfully made up the tutorials 6 and Cool

I've made a pointer scan wich result in finding a pointer address but when I restart the software, I have this result :
address : P->00000000 value : ??

Only when I click on the encoder wheel the pointer retreive the new address...

some pointer scan on the right address will give no result, some other will... it's quite strange... Any idea what am I doing wrong?

Any idea what programming language it's written in? My initial thought is that some code the pointers rely on is being JIT compiled.

Hmm. I guess try rescanning the pointerlist when those values are ?? in your table to remove them. If there' nothing left, expand your pointerscan settings (i.e. increase max offset and/or max level).
