Usually it's done by right clicking on the address in your address list and selecting "Find out what accesses this address". If you can't find a value such that changing it has an effect on the game (i.e. doesn't set themselves back to the original value) but you can find an address that changes predictably and in the same manner as the thing you're trying to find, then odds are what you're looking for is around one of the instructions that accesses that address. This process usually involves backtracing. It's a pain to do, so most people try to avoid it.
But I digress. If you want to find out where STN is getting that from, scan for that AoB (only use the result in the main .exe). Find out what addresses the instruction movss xmm0,[ecx+0000021C] accesses (right-click menu) and see if that address is meaningful in some way. _________________
