My gun(assault) is decreasing health of other player by 16 (not sure, 16 is in gun specification. so developer may be making us fool).
I can find address of this gun, and i can lock value for infinite amo. till yet it is working fine.
But can you please help me to make it 1 shot 1 kill.
There are other weapons(for snipers) which are 1 shot 1 kill but they are very heavy and fire only 1 amo and then it take seconds to reload.
If you need screen shot i can post.
I want to make 1 shot 1 kill gun. right now it is decreasing health of other player by 16 (not sure, 16 is in gun specification. so developer may be making us fool).
Regards
Laura S

You could try using the address of the ammo to find the weapon's structure, then look through it and see if you can't find the damage somewhere.
Topic on structures here.

Most of the time, one-hit-kill cheats are made by altering health values, not weapon values.
Inject your code at an instruction that is accessing all of the enemy health values. You will probably need to filter out hero health so that it isn't affected. Then, just set all of the health values to 1 and jmp originalcode accordingly:
| Code: | cmp [eax+4],(float)1
jle originalcode
mov [eax+4],(float)1 |
If you want to find damage and are unable to find it in weapon structure, look at the instruction that is writing to the health values and analyze the code above it to find where the value is being handled that will determine what kind of damage will be dealt. This will affect all weapons, though, unless you are able to differentiate here.

Maybe. If the values of everything are completely server-sided then you can't do much and you won't find much help with that here. But if the health and/or weapon damage are client-sided, then you can using the above methods. You might need to get past some protection, but it's possible.

For online, you may be forced to find damage value. Aside from the aforementioned analysis of assembly code surrounding health function, you can also try altering values inside the ammo structure. If that doesn't work, sometimes you can find them inside the clip capacity, clips remaining structures etc., if they are separated. In other words, try looking inside other data structures that are weapon-related. They may be global attributes, but that shouldn't matter if it's handled on the client.
I don't like helping online cheaters, but for the sake of helping others that might want to learn how to do this for offline games, I wanted to add this.

Nope. Read the FAQ. You were fine until you linked to the game (and mentioned the name of it).
