Hello there!

I'm looking for a teacher, so to speak, or a lesson plan regarding CE that details where to and what to apply on of what I've learned after finishing the tutorial. I'd like to focus on seeing results on not-so-known games or applications but I usually run into a wall since the information is server-sided. I'm not sure if I should be learning how to create a game-specific injector first, how to navigate through a code cave, or just keep sticking with single-player (client-sided) games.

I'm very "hands-on" in terms of learning but I can try pushing through lengthy articles/guides. If there's a guide that encompasses what I'm trying to accomplish then links to them would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a great day!

Hm, have you already done the tutorial? Because in my opinion the order in which you learn the CE basics is pretty good, so if you've really mastered(!) one step of the tutorial, you can go on to the next and you can meanwhile try your knowledge on some offline games.

The problem with server-sided anti-cheat measures mostly occur on flash games (like the ones on facebook), multiplayer-only games (life team fortress, league of legends, etc.) and the multiplayer mode of "normal" games.

Thanks! So which offline games would you recommend? Also, after that level of applied learning should I just learn how to make bypasses (such as injectors) and then try to see if I can apply it there?

As a test-game you can use every game you like to play if it's possible to play it offline, so I can't really recommend you some games.

You can also search for tables for a specific game here in the CE forum, if there are some, then the game is most likely cheatable.

Ahh, I have used a CT before but I wasn't sure how it worked. It seemed like some of them were just the first pointers in a series or it was just changing the value of a static address. It was neat trying to copy some of them (I fiddled around with demon souls, iirc). I can't wait to mess around with Tomb Raider when that comes out for PC! Back on the topic though, do you remember any games that had enough challenge to you that helped you get to where you are today?

Hehe, that was not a single game, but took years Very Happy

But CodeInjection is a good start to learn, because you'll mostly use those to achieve your cheatings in games ...

Oh I see :O I've done code injecting in the CE tutorial but because of known anti-cheating and server-sided operation I guess I'll just have to try injection on offline games (like you said) and learn packet sniffing, packet editing, and understanding CHECKSUM function of most server-sided games. Thanks for all your input hhhuut! I really should refine how to use the auto assembler to a point of instinct. Have a good day!

EDIT: Oh, I'd also like to ask if you'd have time checking on my steps, when you can, if I run into any trouble. I'll PM you about it if you don't mind Smile

One point to server-sided cheating:
Cheating in singleplayer games is up to you, but manipulating packages or cheating in multipayer-games in general is by law illegal and may result in a ban of your account, so keep that in mind.
Posting ways to hack multiplayer games is also forbidden in this forum if I'm not mistaken, and if you send them to me via PM, I won't help you.

But of course you can send me your other tryings per PM but posting them here in the forum mayhaps gets you even better/faster help since there a many skilled cheater active here ...

Ahh you're right in regards to multi-player games. I apologize. I was just trying to map out the next step but I can change that to finding games that have a unique way of storing values (such as Metal Gear Solid V). Thank you so much! I'm going to bed now so goodnight!

If you want to learn multiplayer hacking, these aren't the right forums and CE isn't the right tool. The best you can do with some online games is aimbot and you need good knowledge of programming to make those.

If you are into single player gaming, you are in the right place and you definitely don't need a teacher.

Sweet, thanks for all your input guys! Yeah I'm going to be practicing on single player games for a while. If I wanted to try to apply what I've learned on multi-player games then where should I be directed to? If it's a forbidden topic that's fine then Smile I'm currently on the third video that Zanzer posted but I'll jump on Fluffer Nutter's playlist as soon as I'm comfortable Very Happy

If there's a link to learning the basics of programming (before learning how to create an aimbot) I'm open to it! I'm still on the lookout for someone who's willing to teach though Razz Seriously, you all have been a tremendous help. Thank you!
