I used to be able to change the values of minerals, gas etc with just 3 or so searches and then change the vallue.

Something changed and I can nolonger change the value of a resource. CE finds the adresses and I can change it no problems however the new amount won't stick. The game reverts it back to its Original in single player only.

dont care about mp i just want to use it to give me a small boost when playing on hard or brutal

If changing the value you found doesn't have any impact in the game, you only found the display value.
This either means that you're scanning the wrong data type or the game has encrypted the value in some manor.
Given this is Blizzard, they probably encrypted the value.
So you would need to use unknown initial value and changed/unchanged.
