I'm currently running Immunity. I had been running Ollydbg for some time, and tried switching to v2.01, but resource strings for executable modules seems to be missing, along with other things.
What is your preference?
Thanks.

OllyDbg customized with some patches and various plugins. I don't really bother with Olly 2 yet since not many plugins have been ported over to it so its a bit lacking in terms of bypassing various protections and such currently. But would like to use it over 1 due to some of the newer features it offers.

| Have you tried x64dbg? I was reading on exetools that a lot of people prefer it. I've yet to actually check it out.

Its really buggy (PC freezes, other bugs) but that's the one i use sometime for 64 bit when CE doesn't offer what i want.

Used it a little bit, not too much though. Most of what I work on is usually 32bit. Online games have not really pushed towards the 64bit world much yet.

Thank you, both.
I don't have any interest in online games, but I do like having options available to me so that I can reverse software, regardless of whatever challenges that I may face with a particular target.

| WinDBG combined with IDA is the way to go for me.
