I predicted it! This speech was about:
1- gun control
2- be nice to Muslims
3- absolutely no change in his strategy to destroy ISIS
4- hypocritically reminding us about American ideals

Mass shootings are beneficial for the NRA and gun manufacturers. Why? Because it instills fear, enticing consumers to purchase guns and ammo. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's being exploited to make the business boom. The NRA, gun manufacturers, and psychopaths BRIBE our senators to prevent background checks on gun purchases in certain situations and have blocked the prevention of gun purchases of known shady characters, including ones that are on NO-FLY LISTS because they are dangerous. This is simply business as usual for the NRA and gun manufacturers and they are profiteering off American deaths. _________________
America wanted to hear Obama's strategy to defeat ISIS & to keep us safe here at home. Instead we got a gun lecture and speech on tolerance.
Yeah what a great plan let's make a really detailed plan on how to fuck up a threat like ISIS and then tell everyone publicly exactly what that plan is. That's bound to work out because ISIS isn't allowed to watch broadcasts and shit right?

Your point is...? The NRA are bad people because people buy guns after mass shootings? That makes the NRA bad?
If you want to be mad at anyone for making gains from mass tragedy, be mad at the media. Journalists make a living off of other people's tragedy. Be mad at the mortuaries for making money off of tragedy. Be mad at insurance companies for making money based off fear.

How many mass shooters have been on the No-Fly-List? I'd really like to see how big of an issue this really is. It seems to be Obama's answer to stop ISIS, so this issue better be relevant.
