ww2 i would've enlisted in
ww3 i can't see justification for enlistment. to fight people my side have financed? is my slaughter not a simple business transaction now?
i don't believe in war or violence unless absolutely necessary. nonviolence is very dear to me.
but i hope i have a clear understanding of events if i ever do decide to enlist.

| war is an outdated concept. what we traditionally think of as "war" doesn't even exist anymore, and technology will continue to divide them apart. people probably said a similar statement when guns came, and then nuclear weaponry, and they were also right, it has just been slowly reaching more extremes

read the weapons described in indian epics like the mahabharata. sounds like a heavily complicated h-bomb. the sickness and effects sound like nuclear. we've even found irradiated towns described by the mahabharata. also vimana.
shit's crazy. a lot of knowledge lost & / or hidden / covered up

ill honestly get around to reading it (you rec'd it before). 2 other books in front of it first though: "120 days of sodom" and then "the consolation of philosophy"
