How do I cheat?

if i use "what wrires to this adress" game will auto turn off, so i can't use it in a lot of case
i use value text & search & i find it, but when i want hack speed to 999 how to find it, in youtube he change 1 thing from 00 to 10 ( work with all class ) and speed when run become 999
how he know what need to change and how to change it correct, i need to understand that Sad
first time i thought use calculator, but if do that 999 will become 3E7 and it not right Sad

Edit > Settings > Debugger Options > Debugger method > Use VEH Debugger
