How do I cheat?

Hello guys,
I have had cheat engine for quite a while and it has always worked with 0 issue but all of sudden it does not anymore.
Problem;
Once I open it I cannot close cheat engine or any tab that I previously opened as well as I cannot open any file. To close the program I have to do Ctr+alt+del
Things that I have tried;
-downloaded again for main site and others
-disabled AV while installing and running the program
-different versions
And so far no luck.. any ideas of what's going on?

Ps. running windows 7 64bits (never had a problem till now)
I got a video of the issue but cannot post it because they don't allow me here.

In C:\Program Files (x86)\Cheat Engine 6.4 ( or where you installed Cheat Engine)
Have:
Cheat Engine.exe
cheatengine-i386.exe
cheatengine-x86_64.exe
If you launch other than you runing now, still occurs problem?

Same story no matter what I launch with.
Sorry forgot to say it.
I just don't get it why all of the sudden the one installed in my PC that has been working since forever did not work anymore. At first I thought well maybe a corrupt file so like i said I downloaded again but nothing. Same story all the time

Did you tried:

Try run as administrator..
Try also right click the Cheat engine icon and go to:
Properties > Comatibility
And Press > Run compatibility troubleshooter

Happened to me once, it was because of a lua scripts. So make sure you remove any custom lua scripts from autorun folder of CE.
I don't know what else could be causing it. Perhaps an antivirus causing this issue

I even erased all Luas and nothing.
I always run it as administrator.
Did the Ce resetting and nothing..
Maybe it's a clue maybe not but when I used to install the program it was opening itself once installed and it used to ask me if I wanted to run tutorial but not it does not open but itself nor the first time that I double click on it and it never gives me the option to run tutorial

have you tried rebooting?
or rebooting after completely uninstalling your anti virus?

run the ceregreset.exe again
reinstall ce to c:\ce instead of program files
if you have overclocked your system run it at normal
one thing ce does that other apps don't do is talk to the virtual machines it's running on, so try to make sure you're not running inside a virtual machine(disable hyper v if it got enabled)
and make sure you have no online games running when you start ce.
besides that i have no idea except a full reinstall of windows
