Hi guys, I need help in deciding which GPU I should buy. I'm selling some of my pc/watercooling parts right now and I'm going to buy a GPU as soon as it gets sold. So which GPU is the best bang for the buck in terms of price:performance ratio?
Palit GTX 960 Jetstream 2GB around $220 but I know a friend whose selling his card for $150
Palit GTX 970 4GB around $330

If you're trying to skimp on money and desperate for card, grab the GTX 960. Otherwise, you're doing it wrong and heading in the wrong direction, grab the 970. The 2GB VRAM on the 960 would stifle performance on the latest games and resolutions above 1080p.

The 960 is a slight upgrade from the 750 series, but the 970 is a downright amazing card and the fact it sli's is reason enough to not completely tear your wallet apart for the 980. The 970 will also act as a crutch for the rest of your build until you upgrade cpu, ram or even motherboard if your planning on making a switch from ddr3 to ddr4 in the near future
