I'm just wondering what the law says about purchase/possession of knives at Walmart in Canada. I'm not talking about butter knives. I'm talking about knives for pumpkin carving (It's Halloween)
* Are there background checks?
* Do they record your purchase?
* Who has access to the record of purchase?
Because I went there today and they said they needed my ID

Ontario guy here, never had ID checked for buying a knife lol.
I might be 19, although I do barely look 16. Baby face.

ACTUALLY they have ID'd me several times buying t1's
i was a punk teenager trying to get high, they had every right to id me and regulate how much I bought, Lol

I was once buying baby aspirins for BP (they have 50mg, like 6x less than a proper aspirin) and the woman told me unfortunately she can't sell me more than 2 packs lel. As if I'd be buying microdoses if I wanted to off myself
