It's not something you generally see on CEF, but you do on facebook/tumblr/whatever-the-kids-are-using, but unsolicited "feel good" quotes aimed at strangers. Things like "Hey you, yeah you! You're awesome!" I don't know why, but something about it pisses me off. Maybe it's because the person saying it has no idea whether or not the reader is indeed awesome, or maybe more that it doesn't matter to them who reads it.
I feel like a large part of the internet is swept up in the movement to tell everyone around them how great they are at everything and how everyone is just super cool and special. It makes me sick. I hate pointless feel good crap.
What makes me even more mad is that I am 90 percent sure these people don't give a shit, that message isn't a "I am a caring person who cares about anyone who reads this", but more of a "Look at how nice I am to complete strangers!", fucking tools.

I don't anymore, but I am still on reddit, and you still see that shit here and there. I can't not use reddit though, because it has all those hot links with relatively important information at times.

I use reddits for random guides for shit, but I just don't go below the main post because its always garbage. and reddit isn't even needed for those type of things anyways, any other website would be a better format, its just that most people already use reddit.
stuff like https://www.reddit.com/r/MoviePosterPorn basically has no reason to be on reddit, its just image collections with no reason for actual discussion

| I dunno. For me, I just use reddit because I'm too lazy to find other sources, and ye, brolock, most subreddits are shit.
