won't use the internet for entertainment
won't enjoy things "ironically"
rebelling by trolling the internet is pointless and only feeds into the system
liking something insincerely will get us nowhere and only allow more garbage to be created so that we can stop being intellectual and just mindless enjoy bad things believing we're "superior" than those that do things like watch reality TV, when its nearly the same thing. internet drama and e-celebrities are no better than the kardashians
actual art being produced now is seen as being "ironic" when in reality it is just playing with expectations and preconceived notions. vaporwave isn't ironic, the people really wish reality was different, and that we lived in some kind of neo-tokyo. the PC Music label isn't creating "ironic" dance music making fun of nightcore, they're making good vibes by twisting previously existed genres that were laughed at when they actually have a lot of potential.

and if the only communities that exist that aren't already flooded by idiots only exist to pretend to be idiots ironically and sarcastically, then we are all lumped together, and real people no longer exist

to sincerely enjoy what you like, on the basis of it being fun, or impactful, or artistic etc
and instead of breaking your personality down and avoiding it for irony so that when people dislike the things you do you can say "oh i only liked it ironically" you should instead defend your interests, and state why you like them, so that better things can be made in the future. raising the standards basically.

not everyone is the underground man, you can't expect them to be. its pretty much as if reality started to hit these people, and they went further away from it by using irony and the internet and being insincere. they're too distracted for reality to hit them, its desperately trying to get their attention and they're rejecting it
