Cheat Engine

Well, when most people think of Cheat Engine outside of games, they think of it in reference to software manipulation, such as altering cursor size in Microsoft Paint, speeding up or slowing down scrolling times for certain processes, all that stuff

But, I just learned today, that there is a completely unique way to use Cheat Engine outside of games.

You can use it to monitor fraudulent activity in software

I'm not talking about malicious keylogging, viruses, trojans or the like. I'm talking about the disassembly concept. You can dissect the way a program runs in memory, and then figure out if they've lied in their privacy policy!

Obviously, you'd need to use other programs as well, Cheat Engine alone would not yield practical results.

I doubt you can use it as evidence in court though.
