MB = Asus Z97 Pro Gamer
MEM = G.Skill TridentX 2400MHz 16GB 2x8 CL10
VGA = EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB GDDR5
HDD SSD = Samsung 850 Evo 250GB SSD
HDD DATA = WD Caviar Blue 1TB Sata3 64MB
COOLER = NZXT Kraken X41
BOX = Corsair Carbide 500R Series Black

Why not using 8 core like jaguar?
More core, do more, even though have less power.
That's why microsoft and sony chose jaguar.
That's what i think.

| AikonCWD how does the new system go? What games have you played on it? Just curious as I am looking at getting a similar spec system but I'm unsure how games like Mad Max and Ark will go?

Yes, all the cables are tied in the backpanel, under the mainboard. If I have time I will post some photos from the back of the mainboard.

I played Witcher3 using the auto-config from nvidia exprerience tool (config full but no nvidia hairworks) @ 60 fps, in some scenes drops to 55 fps. I'm downloading Mad Max to test it. Ark runs smooth full config, but this game is not optimized, I think it will run smooth on lower spect systems.

Not true. That's only relevant if you're doing heavy multi-tasking things like video editing (rendering), etc.
The i7-4790K is one of the most powerful CPUs out there when it comes to Single Threaded Performance, making it one hell of a powerful CPU. So it's a Quad Core CPU only, but those 4 (8 with HT) still run amazingly well.
If I were to upgrade my computer right now, I'd be going straight for the i7-4790K.
