most of us are audiophiles here, so we typically are already in the loop of what's good and what's bad but I have currently a scarlett 18i8 interface for all my sound. I used to use the DT770 pro 80 ohm model by beyerdynamic but the male adapter on the end of my cable broke and i need to replace it.

dont know if i could do any of the onboard DAC or AMP setups. i was originally going to probably get a soundblaster z because lol fuck hifi but ended up not going with that since I have a window my case and want less unnecessary shit in there (especially BRIGHT RED stuff)

shitty pic of setup btw thinking of getting speakers soon but fucking shrug because i dont want to disturb other people.

do you find tubes objectively better? i haven't gotten to try any out but i've heard some good things

The only cable that's dangling is the PCIe power cable for my card. it's an awkward angle in my case and it can't be manage right without touching the MOBO or components rn so i just let it dangle.
