Recently , while hacking a game that uses a client shell to store its data. I ran into a problem , I was trying to find a dynamic address so I started by the manual way "Find out what access this address", well after a lot of digging I found that It was not that easy with that particular game. So I decided to use CheatEngine Pointer Scan, and here comes the problem , the game module is based on this format "Stringxxx.tmp" as xxx is a random generated string in each start.
Now all the pointers are clearly invalid , now I have to replace all the modules that contains the old "Stringxxx.tmp" (Last scan before game restart) with the current module name, What should I do ? _________________
