So I was watching a gameplay video of Crysis (the first one), and afterwards I wanted to play it. I decided to check what kind of tables there were up here so I searched "Crysis 1" and got about 900+ results, varying from Crysis 1 - Crysis 3 and topics that were just questions. I was thinking this idea would be pretty neat

So when we upload tables or need to ask questions, instead of just hitting "New Topic", we first search for the game. Then, if nothing shows, only then can we make a new thread for that game. And then, other users wanting to upload/search for that game, they can just find it under the thread we started. On top of that, recurring links should be removed, there doesn't have to be 10 results that lead to the same topic. Similar to how if we search for an artist on amazon, a list of albums show up instead of the individual songs. I know it'd probably be a hassle to implement this sorting system, but I thought it would be neat

Forcing people to post their fresh new tables on page 73 of a six year old Crysis 1 thread will really improve the boards a lot. Great idea.

| no no no I'm not saying this JUST for the sake of my troubles (or this game), I just feel that searching for topics regarding a game would be easier to find by game name rather then a topic that just has the name in it. I mean, lets just say I'm looking for a modern game, like GTA5 or something, why should tables for GTA4/3/2/1 show up in the results right? I just feel it would certainly help narrow down the search results making it a bit easier.

Give him a little credit.
He is showing a new way to do things.
Most likely it will never happen, but at least kid has the creativity and guts to speak what's on mind.
And to answer your question while we are changing the format of the website we could make newest topic appear on the first page and go in that order.
Or like Youtube. Have the table appear in the front and comments appear at the bottom.

sorry if I left the wrong impression, perhaps the word "thread" wasn't the best choice. Not a thread like what were in now, it would basically be a page of links to tables just like how it is now in the "Tables" pages except every link would be specific to that one game. If you thought I wanted all the answers and tables and everything else related in one gigantic thread then I could see why you thought this was a terrible idea, but that isn't what I had in mind.
