I didn't have any cash at the time, but many people I know bought like ten. They can't just let people have 185$ free, so I would think they would refund them.

Sorry was limited by words, so I was not very clear. Last night for a short period best buy was selling 200$ giftcards for 15$, so thousands of people bought them. People were even buying 40-50 at a time trying to get 7-10k$ back in merch to resell. I'm still quite skeptical because that would be a big loss to the company if they don't refund the money. I was just thinkin about building a computer, but didn't have money to invest at the time. Hoping people agree that they probably wont get the cards with 185$ extra.

From what I've read, even though Best Buy is typically pretty good about honoring their mistakes, something like this, where thousands of people ordered cards worth more than 13x their actual value is not likely to be one of those things they honor. I'd be willing to bet people get refunded.
Why are you hoping that they won't get the money though? That's what I don't understand. Is it because you weren't able to get one yourself?

If it was like the PlayStation 3 sales on Amazon a while back where they were being sold for $49 or something, they will probably refund everyone and correct the sale and redo it.

It's more like I don't want to have missed out on the opportunity. Anyway, it's confirmed all the people I know got a refund.
