Cheat Engine

I am trying to use cheat engine for Pokemon Reborn to increase my money, but every time I try to use the formula that I see on guides which is value*2+1 it says that it is an invalid value.

What am I doing wrong? I cannot quite figure it out.

Doing the math myself fixed my problem! I feel so dumb for not thinking of that.
