How do I cheat?

and school starts next week, but I'm only taking two classes during the summer. I would say my job is fairly easy, but some heavy lifting. I would say things are going pretty well, and hopefully I can get on some health insurance soon and get my shoulder blade fixed.
How are your jobs going?

Thinking about going down that same path. I would want to save up for quite a while since I just got my 200$mic/200$interface recently. Maybe something in the 1.5k range? Not sure what to look for lol

I'm pretty sure I would need a new interface as well. Its a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, I think you said you had heard of it.

I'm starting to run into the dilemma of wanting to upgrade stuff I haven't used very much (my mic) which seems bad, but I know it's the right choice in the long run. I don't want to invest too much into the bedroom studio, but I always want to keep upgrading it. It won't be my actual studio in the long run because if I get my own place I want to build something that doesn't damage the walls. I'm thinking of making a closed in part of the room, or I can find a place with a little side room or a big closet. If I build I big enough studio with great soundproofing and find a local audio engineer we could start recording people on our tracks and having a some business coming in.
On another note what mic were you planning to get with that interface, or what would be the best mic? I heard you can't use phantom power with like tube mics, so does that interface allow you to turn that off?

Those are my mics that I just got, the dynamic mic is my dad's and he just gave it to me today, and I copped that other one on the left for 120 with 3 year coverage. Shure SM57 cardiod dynamic mic

I work 7 hours a week, 1 hour a day. I don't do much heavy lifting; my job is comparable to a game of chess. I play the role, while my minions do the work.
I quite enjoy my life.

Stable 40-45 hours every week at a production factory, $12 an hour cash feels stable enough with the nice boss. I spend like $$40 every week on darn Burger King stuff.
