How do I cheat?

I'd really like to use a speedhack, but whenever I try it says

Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL Injection failed): Error in line 13, (call_dlopen) :This instruction can't be complied.
I have installed Xcode, haven't yet done anything with it though, and I have tried going into the memory view and clicking inject dll. I am on a mac, and cannot open EXE files. Please help! I have tried many other methods, but they explain almost nothing, and I need things easily explained to me, as in maybe step 1, etc. Thanks in advance!
