Anyone notice how online begging for money has became a thing in the last year? Literally about 15 of my graduating classmates are now using sites like patreon and gofundme instead of getting a job.
What is even worse is when youtube partners beg for money claiming for cough"camera equiptment"cough.
This bothers me lol

| Oh yes, the fundme site thing for going to some expensive college. At least it'll teach them that there's no such thing as free wealth. Sadly, there are those that actually give some money that are outside of the family.

When people asked me for cigs I always thought of it as "less death for me", so I would usually. I was usually the guy asking cigs though not because I was broke, but because I didn't buy packs only singles in order to not get so deep into smoking.

1. "Get a job" isn't a viable argument.
Probably all of those people on gofund me have jobs, the issue is they pay minimum wage and college is extremely expensive.
2. Some people randomly get a ton of money that way, some people get 0, I can't figure out the reasoning but it's at least worth a shot.

cigs r expensive especially in the north. Its like 50 cents a cig in NYC.

actually it is. you can get a minimum wage job in a week. my sober.living is generous and gives everyone a month. rent is $740 you can easily make that in a month working part time at $9-$10/hr plus have.money left over.and considering these people dontbhave jobs means mom and dad are paying their rent.
none of these people are going to college or most aarent. and they dont have to worry about that. in the year ive been here no one has gone to college everyone worked min wage and evetyine was able to pay eent and cig money tattoos surfboards fast food every day. |
depends on where u live. Some places like austin rent has gone way up. My parents charged 600 month 5 years ago and now its 1000. The cost of living in Austin keeps going up. Its like 10% increase a year.
