Hi,

So Im doing Chapter 7: Tutorial 5 from Dark Byte's tutorial

Thing is I cant find the pointers to an address, im pretty novice so here is my example:
these addresses arent changing, the program always writes the new values to a new address, so I cannot find the address's pointer as it doesnt changing.
so its like: value:
- value: Car01 adress: 00A0C0E1
- value: Car02 adress: 00BEC0E2
- value: Car03 adress: 0ECAC0E6
etc..

So actually I want to find the pointer which writes adresses which values start with Car.

Is this possible?

About what tutorial are you talking about? the official one (Tutorial-i386.exe)?

Those are called static addresses. All the data around it is statically allocated during compile-time.

Statically allocated data doesn't need any pointers to it, which is why you weren't finding any.
