How do I cheat?

Hallo

i used the CE 6.4 to add some gold to MKX and it worked fine, but i noticed that the Microsoft xbox wireless controller started behaving strangely, as the RB is always considered as pressed in game and even when the game is not running.
when i applied the cheat i selected 4 or 5 addresses in CE and changed their values to 999999. so could that be the problem ?
and if so how could i resolve this plz ?
any help will be appreciated
