Cheat Engine

Hello. I've been using cheat engine for awhile now and i only figured out how to search for vaules and how to change them in this game called reign of kings. Anyway. I wanted to try doing something more advanced with cheat engine like making myself jump higher then normal in the game for example. So how would i go by this when it comes to the more advanced type of searching instead of just vaules? Any hits or tips would be great or a direction to some kind of tutorial i can follow to understand how it works when it comes to doing other stuff with cheat engine.
