They say that Elvis loved peanut butter, banana, and bacon, fried like a toasted cheese sandwich. Strangely, bacon sounds good to me but egg does not.

nothing wrong with bread, especially if you bake your own. Its time and money consuming, but its definitely worth it. I cant stand bread bought from the store, its so stale, salty, and badly cooked.

Can't you just buy fresh bread from bakers or stores that sell fresh bread? In my country 90% of the bread you'll find in stores is made that day, if it's a big store they even make new batches multiple times a day. I can't imagine it being so hard to find wherever you guys live?
Still though, most bread contains a shitload of sugar and isn't nutritious at all.

For some styles, yes. Most bakeries and grocery stores where I live offer freshly baked "French" breads - like hugely oversized baguettes - daily, but the other styles are made at less frequent intervals. Sliced breads, like for sandwiches, are typically mass-produced and delivered by truck.
There are typically many brands and varieties to choose from, but they are all pretty much the same quality. The stores could offer freshly baked breads, whether baked in-house or delivered by truck, but instead they stock large amounts and hold back the freshest bread to maximize the amount of time they can keep each loaf before throwing it away, unsold.
