hi guys im new to the forum so i want to ask you if any body had this problem before and how to deal with it so im playing a horror game and i want to freeze my health but the trick is that you die from one hit and the values changing to new addresses every time you respawn so you cant do a decreased value increased value scan so if any one have some advice please tell me Very Happy

Are you sure that the values changing their address each death?

About the scan itself, For me it looks like there is no HP value at all.

It's seems just coded like:

If (you get a hit)
{
*perfom a death*
}

You can try using the Memory Viewer to find and disable the *perform a death* (for example by NOP'ing or changing the conditional jump (the IF) )

You can also use OllyDbg for that (if you know how to use it..)

guys please help im stuck with this problem for week now and i cant find even a tutorial about this kind of problem and every tutorial on the internet bigness with first you have to find a value then you could do what ever you want with the game but what if you die from one hit and the value keeps changing every time you respawn

As you said, it's very hard to find the code that activates when you get caught and die without having a value on which to set a breakpoint. In games like this, it's likely that there is no health value stored in memory. It's as simple as when the two entities touch, game over.

Something you might be able to do is to find your character's position within the game. Trace all instructions that access your position and see if any of those instructions affect more than just the player. If they affect the thing you're running away from, maybe you can warp that entity someplace else so that it can never touch you.

Also, have you tried finding the value of matches and seeing if the other memory values around that address relate to something else on your character? Games don't normally store inventory items in the same structure as the player, but this game looks simple enough that they just might have. Hell, maybe you'll even see a value of 1 or 100 that represents health (unlikely).
